A resident of a locality in Shillong lodged a complaint that in the month of March 2024, while responding to an online advertisement ‘Tips on Stock’ on Instagram, a woman named Ankita convinced him to invest Rs 90,000 with a promise of high returns. Later, the complainant realised that he has been cheated.
