Swedish rock band Europe to headline Me.Gong Festival

SHILLONG, Oct 28: The legendary Swedish rock band, Europe, is set to headline the two-day Me.Gong Festival, which will get under way on Tuesday at Baljek Airport in West Garo Hills.
Europe is globally celebrated for iconic hits like The Final Countdown, Prisoners in Paradise and Last Look at Eden, and their performance is anticipated to be the highlight of the festival.
Known for their electrifying stage presence and timeless rock anthems, Europe’s presence will add an international flair to the Me.Gong line-up.
Alongside Europe, the festival will feature prominent Indian bands and artists, including Euphoria, Indus Creed, Shanka Tribe, and popular DJ Udita Goswami, who will bring a mix of rock, fusion and electronic music.
In addition, a host of talented local artistes from the Northeast will also perform during the two-day festival.
