Decomposed body found in EJH jungle

SHILLONG, Oct 29: A decomposed body was found lying on a jungle road in Sohjo, Dongkhliehchnong, Lumshnong, East Jaintia Hills, about 200 metres away from NH-06, on Monday morning.
The unidentified body is suspected to be of a non-tribal individual, approximately 40 years old, police said in a statement.
They added that inquest could not be conducted as the body was in a decomposed state. The cadaver was however sent to Khliehriat Civil Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.
The unidentified is around 5.5 feet tall, fair-complexioned, and was found wearing a light gray track pant, a multi-coloured t-shirt, a striped shirt and black and white slippers.
