TURA, Nov 3: The Block Development Officer’s office under Baghmara C&RD Block organised the first-ever Gram Sabha at Mahadeo UP School in South Garo Hills, bringing together various departments to raise public awareness about available schemes and services.
Departments and agencies such as Agriculture, Social Welfare, Fisheries, Skill Development, besides DCIC, MBDA and LEAD Bank set up stalls to inform the public about their respective programmes and how residents can access benefits.
