Art exhibition
A solo art exhibition will be held at Bangiya Sahitya Parishad, Jail Road, on November 23 and 24. A local artist, Jayanta Chakraborty, will display around 50 of his paintings and drawings at the exhibition, which will be attended by former Education Minister, Padma Shree Manas Chaudhuri as the chief guest, and prominent artists Raphael Warjri and Benedict Hynniewta as guests of honour. The exhibition will begin from 1 pm to 7 pm on November 23 and between 11 am and 7 pm on November 24.

Dak Adalat
A Divisional Level ‘Dak Adalat’ will be held in the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya Division, Shillong, on November 29 at 11 am. The Dak Adalat will entertain grievances pertaining to postal services for its redressal. Written complaints should reach the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya Division, Shillong, on or before November 28, 2024.

Factory delisted
A factory named M/S Shivani Ispat and Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd. situated at 13th Mile, Tamulkuchi, Ri-Bhoi, registered under the Factories Act, 1948, has been de-recognised and its name has been deleted from the list of registered factories in the state, the Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Shillong, said in a statement.
