MSCW campaign to protest violence against women from tomorrow

SHILLONG, Nov 23: A campaign protesting violence against women, organised by the Meghalaya State Commission for Women (MSCW), will get under way here on Monday.
According to a statement here, as part of the campaign, which will culminate on December 10, the MSCW will hold several events starting with a roadshow on November 25, which also marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
“The roadshow will start from Nongthymmai and conclude at Don Bosco Square, Laitumkhrah, from 12 noon to 1:30 pm,” the statement said.
