SHILLONG, Dec 1: Eldora Betsy Lyngdoh, a multifaceted artist, represented Meghalaya at the prestigious 8th Mumbai edition of the “Kalaa Spandan Art Fair,” organised by the Indian Art Promoter, which concluded on Sunday.
At the event held at Nehru Centre, Mumbai, Eldora displayed her 3D artwork and paintings. The fair was inaugurated by actor Mukesh Rishi and ACP Mumbai, Sanjay Patil, on Friday.
In a phone conversation with The Shillong Times, Eldora stated that this was her first time participating in the art fair. She felt privileged to showcase her artwork and paintings to the people of Mumbai.
Eldora mentioned that her 3D paintings, such as the Golden Harp, Mother Earth, and Tree Woman, are accompanied by poetry that explains their meaning.
Notably, over 300 artists from across the country showcased thousands of artworks in various mediums, including figurative and abstract paintings, acrylic, oil, watercolor, and mixed media paintings, photography, textile art, decorative arts, traditional art, and artifacts, as well as designer concepts in diverse shapes, styles, and forms.
