Perfect chaos

Weekends at Thana Road have become an exercise in patience, as the street transforms into a chaotic gridlock and the real kicker is that vehicles are still allowed to crawl through this mess.
One such sighting by this frustrated Shillong Jottings member included a huge pickup van, proudly parked in the middle of the road, leaving pedestrians to exchange uncomfortable glances as they squeezed past. As if that wasn’t enough, trucks and vans unloading goods at every turn make the situation worse, turning the road into a living, breathing human traffic jam.
And of course, the constant honking as drivers battle for space makes it the perfect weekend stress test.
