Cleaning drives
The Dorbar Shnong Laban will conduct a cleaning drive on December 14 from 8 am till 12 noon. In this regard, all residents and shopkeepers have been asked to take part in the event.
The Dorbar Dong Demseniong, Laitumkhrah, will conduct the annual cleaning drive of the locality on December 16 from 8 am onwards. All shops and business establishments in the area have been asked to remain shut till 1 pm.
The Dorbar Shnong, Lumkshadi, along with Shillong Municipal Board, will conduct annual cleaning drive on December 18.

Convocation
The MIT University of Meghalaya will hold its fifth convocation ceremony from 11 am onwards on December 14 at its campus. A statement in this regard informed that the programme will be attended by esteemed dignitaries, prominent academicians and industry leaders.

Job fair
The District Employment Exchange, Ri-Bhoi, will organise a registration mela-cum-job fair for people in the age group of 18-32 years on December 17 at District Library, Nongpoh. “Candidates already registered with the Employment Exchange, Ri Bhoi, are required to bring their Employment Exchange registration card. Job seekers who are not yet registered must bring their original documents along with photocopies, including their EPIC (Voter ID), Aadhaar Card, ST/SC Certificate, educational qualification and training certificates, marksheets and matriculation admit card,” a statement in this regard said.
