The candlelight vigil, which was part of an awareness campaign to eliminate gender-based violence, was organised by Social Welfare department, and District Programme Officer, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Cell, in collaboration with the Meghalaya
State Rural Livelihoods Society and District Legal Service Authority.
