SHILLONG, Dec 15: The Block Congress Committees (BCCs) of West Shillong and Mawlai have finalised their candidates for the upcoming KHADC elections, scheduled for early next year.
The Mawlai BCC has decided to propose Wanseng Jyrwa as the party’s candidate for the Mawlai constituency. This proposal has also received the endorsement of the MBCC’s frontal wings.
Meanwhile, the Jaiaw BCC announced its decision on Friday to propose Gerald Shullai as the party’s candidate for the Jaiaw constituency.
Shullai’s candidacy was officially announced by Shillong City Congress Committee president Omarlin Kyndiah during a meeting held at the community hall of the Lama Villa Dorbar Shnong.
