44 karatekas from state to compete in natl karate c’ship

Shillong, Dec 29: A team of 44 talented Karatekas from the Meghalaya Karate Association, under the leadership of Donboklang Lyngdoh, Arjun Sewa, Mingson Rymbai, and Greater EM Kharpuri, will represent the state at the Kanninjuku National Karate Championship 2024.
The prestigious event is set to take place on December 29 and 30, 2024, at the BHU Indoor Stadium in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
The selected athletes include Lapyntngen Lamin, Dominica Phidahun Kharbani, Esaranaki Kharjana, Phibanylla Eleonora Thongni, Sherry Pangniang, Iwannaki L Khongji, Mebapynhun Marngar, Aibiangmisaka Lyngdoh Mawphlang, Inlumlang Skhemiew, Daphilahun M. Wahlang, Daiarisa Nongrum, Clareenda Lyngdoh, Cathy Sweety Nongrum, Carenia Rapthap, Rebeka Nongspung, Carene Sohiong, Durka Padit, Elisheba Khongwar, Barisha Kharbani, Nathaniel Levin Suting, Aibor Jyrwa, Eric Banteinam Ryngnga, Jake Hynniewta, Michael Vincent Pyngrope, Nathaniel J Thongni, Athokpam Ethan S Khawbung, Nowni Mayer F Ryngkhlem, Samuel Kurbah, Nongpoknganba Tynshain Kharmawphlang, Bameshanlang A. Sawkmie, Hashuabor Jaktung, Badondor Ryntathiang, Yeomiky Dame Chyne, Daniel Dabiangbha Warjri, Iaineshkhem Shabong, Shanborlang Kharkrang, Samebanmerbha S. Blah, Willson Mylliempdah, Nangkitbok Phira, Kmenlang Shabong, Bhawanchwadame Lyngdoh Mawphlang, Cheltis Shylla, Ialamphang Kharkongor, and Davyson Kharkongor.
These athletes from Meghalaya have been selected for their exceptional skills and dedication to the sport, and they are expected to compete with top athletes from across the country.
