Love spray painted

The wall at Rhino Point has unofficially turned into the city’s romantic bulletin board, a favorite spot for lovers armed with spray paint and grand declarations. The wall has been a clean slate for several lovers, when the latets message reads , “You’ll always be the Sally 2 my Jack,” a tribute to the Nightmare Before Christmas duo.
Interestingly, this comes after a more cryptic message previously scrawled on the same spot, “I will find you.” It appears so that the mystery seeker has finally tracked down their Sally, or at least hopes to convince her of their undying devotion.
Either way, if you’re reading this, Sally, Jack clearly wants the whole town to know that you’re his one and only. And for the rest of us the famous wall is now the city’s unofficial theater of love, quirky, dramatic, and just a little over the top, perhaps that how love should be?

When Shillong says, it’s got the blues, and the love for
it runs deep, it means blinding the city with enough blue
lights, so much so that even the cars are star-struck. (ST)
