Shillong-based startup holds wellness retreat in Himachal

SHILLONG, Jan 19: Yona Wellness by IYKA-Aram, a Shillong-based wellness and healthcare startup, has collaborated with Himachal Pradesh-based Wellness Taru to organise a wellness retreat focused on mental and emotional well-being through yoga and naturopathy. The two-day retreat was held recently at Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh, offering participants of all age groups an opportunity to begin the year with a positive mindset.
The resource persons for the retreat included Dr Emidaka Dkhar from Shillong, and Dr Aditi Garg and Dr Gaurav Thakur from Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The team of doctors aimed to promote wellness through their expertise in yoga and naturopathy.
The retreat featured various activities, including yoga therapy, forest bathing, journaling, art therapy, wellness habits and meditation.
Participants from diverse backgrounds joined with the intention of starting the year with a calm and refreshed mind.
It may be mentioned that the team, following the event’s positive response, looks forward to hosting more wellness retreats in the coming months in both Himachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
