Mild quake felt in NE states

Guwahati, Jan 21: A mild earthquake measuring 4.1 in Richter Scale was felt in parts of Meghalaya,Assam  and other NE states at around 12.34 pm today.

According to the data available on the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) website the epicenter of the tremor is located to South West Khasi Hills at a depth of 5km below the surface.
