Celebration
The Greater Shillong Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Birthday Celebration Committee (GSNSCBBCC), Shillong, will celebrate the 128th birthday of Netaji on the State Central Library premises, Shillong, on Thursday. The programme will start with the hoisting of the national flag at 9 am followed by a floral tribute, patriotic song performance, etc.
Conclave
A two-day ‘Livestock Conclave’ on ‘Holistic Development of Livestock Sector in North East India’ will be held on January 23 and 24 at CosMos Hall, Courtyard by Marriott, Police Bazar. Union Minister Rajiv Rajan Singh and Union Minister of State George Kurian along with several ministers from various states of the Northeast will participate in the event. The registration will begin at 9 am on January 23 followed by the inaugural programme from 10 am.
