KHADC polls: 16 executive magistrates appointed

SHILLONG, Feb 7: The Meghalaya government has appointed 16 officers as executive magistrates for the upcoming election to the KHADC.
A notification in this regard was issued recently, with most of the appointed officers being from the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department and Public Works Department (PWD).
It may be mentioned that the elections to both the KHADC and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) are scheduled for February 21.
