The Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson, District Tourism Promotion Society, East Khasi Hills, has informed that award for the poster competition and cleanest tourist spot has been announced. A statement in this regard informed that while Divyanshi Saha was declared the winner of the poster competition, Ka Bri ki Synrang Park (Garden of Caves) Laitmawsiang secured the cleanest tourist spot award.
Condolence
A condolence meeting was on Friday organised at Harisabha temple during which tributes were paid to the advisor to the Harisabha, Kajal Sen, who passed away on February 5. During the meeting, the gathering recalled Sen’s contribution to the Harisabha temple. A one-minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect for the departed soul.
