Boxing trials for trainees

Shillong, Feb 11: The Green Heart Boxing Academy, a prominent institution dedicated to nurturing young boxing talent in Meghalaya, has announced selection trials for the induction and retention of trainees for the 2025 coaching year.
The trials are scheduled to take place on February 15, 2025, at the Indoor Sports Hall in Mawlai Mawroh, Shillong, starting at 9 AM.
The selection process will assess candidates based on their physical fitness, boxing skills, and personal interaction with the evaluators. Boys and girls aged between 12 and 20 are eligible to participate. Interested candidates are required to report at the venue on time for registration and assessment.The academy aims to identify and train promising boxers who have the potential to represent Meghalaya at regional, national, and international levels. Focus will be on preparing athletes for the 39th National Games, set to be hosted in Meghalaya in 2027.
