SHILLONG, Feb 11: In a bid to inspire students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities, an entrepreneurship awareness programme was organised by the E-cell of St. Edmund’s College, Shillong, in collaboration with IIM Shillong’s PRIME initiative and the state government on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Associate Professor at IIM Shillong, Dr Teidorlang Lyngdoh, emphasised the importance of ‘behavioural change’ in developing an entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on the role of aspiration and real-life experiences in skill development. He also spoke about IIM’s shift towards more effective methods for nurturing future entrepreneurs.
Senior Manager at PRIME Shillong, Nathaniel Kharkongor, discussed how PRIME supports aspiring entrepreneurs in addressing societal gaps and shared inspiring stories of local entrepreneurs who have driven change through innovation and determination.
