Rymbui visits Khanduli to back UDP candidate

JOWAI, Feb 18: UDP MLA Lakmen Rymbui visited Mynsngat-Khanduli MDC constituency to support UDP candidate Damian S War. He was accompanied by the local MDC, Dawan Lyngdoh, along with other senior party members.
On Tuesday, a large gathering of War’s supporters assembled in Tamu, West Jaintia Hills, where hundreds of people demonstrated their unity and commitment to securing his victory.
In his speech, Rymbui urged the people to elect a leader with integrity — someone who could serve the community with the right values, like Damian S War. He further appealed for full support for the UDP candidate, emphasising that War had been warmly accepted by the party following discussions with local MDC, Dawan Lyngdoh. He also noted that the people of the area were eager to see Mr. War contest the upcoming JHADC election.
