Rangers, Laitkynsew bag victories

Shillong, Feb 19: Royal Rangers and Laitkynsew CC secured victories on Day 16 of the East Khasi Hills District League T20 Cricket Tournament.
In Match 31, Royal Rangers defeated Mawryngkneng by seven wickets after restricting them to 101 all out in 14.4 overs, with Ruston Lamare top-scoring with 19 off 9 balls and Balabianglang Buhphang taking 4/31 in 4 overs. In response, Royal Rangers chased down the target in 14 overs, losing just three wickets, with Lamphang Khongsni scoring 23 off 25 balls, while Moonlight War picked up 2/24 in 4 overs. Buhphang was named Player of the Match for his exceptional bowling.
In Match 32, Laitkynsew CC outplayed Thynroid CC with a commanding 75-run win. Batting first, Laitkynsew posted 170/5 in 20 overs, led by Mebanrikupar Malngiang’s 59 off 45 balls, while Banrilang Kharbamon took 2/27 in 4 overs. Thynroid CC faltered in the chase, getting bowled out for 95 in 18.1 overs, with Bankit Nongtraw top-scoring with 25 off 19 balls.
