Traffic rules for KJP Synod in SWKH

Mawkyrwat, March 7: Temporary traffic arrangements have been put in place for the smooth movement of vehicles and to avoid congestion during the 23rd KJP Synod Sepngi in South West Khasi Hills from March 7-9.
According to the order issue here, all vehicles from Shillong and Umoid will proceed via Jakrem-Lad Sakwang to ITI Sakwang and park at Mawmyriong football playground. Vehicles from Ranikor will go through Nonglang – Mawkyrwat – District Court Junction to Pynden Sakwang where parking spaces have been arranged. Vehicles from Nongstoin, Lawbyrtun and Nongshilong will pass through Pyndenmawthawiang-Jashiar to Sakwang. Sumos, Pickups and small vehicles will park at Pyndensakwang while buses and trucks at Sakwang. For those coming from Phangkynshi and Mawkohphet, the route will be through Rangmaw-Lad Rangmaw to Pyndenumdoh where parking has been arranged.
