‘Fashion Spectrum’ at NIFT ends on a high

SHILLONG, March 9: ‘Fashion Spectrum 2025’ — the flagship event of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Shillong concluded on a high note on Saturday, garnering widespread acclaim from participants, attendees, and dignitaries alike. The event’s seamless organisation and flawless execution left a lasting impression on all who attended.
Padma Shri Patricia Mukhim, who served as the chief guest, cheered on the creativity of the students. In her speech, Mukhim celebrated the International Women’s Day and elaborated on the importance of women empowerment. She congratulated NIFT Shillong for organising the event and providing a platform for young talent to shine.
Campus Director Shankar Kumar Jha also addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of seizing opportunities and making the most of the event. He said, “Fashion Spectrum 2025 is not just an event; it’s a platform for our students to learn, grow, and network with peers from other institutions”.
The event’s impact extended beyond the campus, as it brought together students, faculty, and industry experts from diverse backgrounds, promoting cross-cultural understanding, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
