Designer Anamika Khanna is set to open the 2025 edition of the Lakme Fashion Week, in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the organisers announced on Thursday. According to a press release, the opening show will be hosted at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on March 26. The collection, under prêt label AK|OK Anamika Khanna, draws inspiration from Lakme’s 9 to 5 Hya-Matte range, promising to showcase “modern sophistication with effortless elegance, embodying the duality of strength and grace”.
