M’laya cyclist Kevin Lyngdoh honoured for nat’l c’ship win

Shillong, April 1:The Meghalaya Cycling Association (MCA) on Tuesday felicitated 15-year-old Kevin Lyngdoh Sangriang from Mawkyrwat for his stellar performance at the 21st National Mountain Bike Championship 2025, held in Morni Hills, Haryana, from March 28 to 31.
Kevin secured two gold medals, dominating both the Cross Country Time Trial and Cross Country Olympic categories. Adding to Meghalaya’s success, Meban Aiboklang Suiam clinched a silver medal in the competition.
A 14-member contingent from Meghalaya participated in the championship, with the remaining 12 cyclists gaining valuable experience despite missing out on podium finishes.The felicitation ceremony, held at ISBT Junction in Mawlai Mawiong, was led by MCA president Lening B. Bareh, along with other association officials, to celebrate the achievements of the young cyclists.
