Shop damaged after 2-wheeler torched in city

SHILLONG, April 1: A GS Road-based shop has filed a police complaint after a fire, allegedly set by miscreants, damaged its property in the early hours of March 29.
According to the police complaint, unknown individuals torched a motorcycle belonging to Hotel Ashutosh Inn, which was parked in front of the shop around 4 am.
The flames, the complaint said, spread rapidly, causing significant damage to the shop and resulting in considerable financial loss.
Meanwhile, the shop owner has urged authorities to take swift action against those responsible.
