Barikynti Khonglah has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by William Carey University, Meghalaya, for her thesis titled ‘A Study on the Influences of Information and Communication Technology on the Academic Achievement of Secondary School Students in West Jaintia Hills District, Meghalaya’, which she completed under the supervision of Education department Associate Professor Dr Balensha D Nongrum. Khonglah hails from Sohkha Mission West Jaintia Hills, and is the daughter of Lastborn Tongper and Roily Khonglah, and wife of Lodestar Born Tiewsoh.
