JOWAI, June 3: Jowai MLA Wailadmiki Shylla on Tuesday visited two sites where new sub-centres are to be constructed within his constituency.
It was informed that these sub-centres will be established in the villages of Sabahmuswang and Ialong, both falling under the Jowai constituency.
The MLA was accompanied during the visit by village leaders and senior officials from the National Health Mission, West Jaintia Hills.
Speaking to the media persons, Shylla expressed his happiness that these two villages have been selected for the establishment of the sub-centres.
He said that the presence of these healthcare facilities will greatly benefit the residents of these villages, particularly women and children, by providing them with access to essential healthcare services.
