Over 120 patients benefit from free eye screening camp in city

Shillong, June 15: More than 120 patients benefitted from a free eye screening and cataract detection camp organised by the Marwari Yuva Manch, Shillong Branch, on Sunday.
Patients identified with cataract conditions were guided for further treatment.
Held with the objective of providing quality eye care to the underprivileged sections of society, the camp was graced by Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh as the chief guest, who applauded the organisation’s continued efforts in serving the community. She also assured her full support for such noble initiatives in the future.
Moreover, the ex-national president of Marwari Yuva Manch, Amit Agarwal, and regional vice president, Mohit Malu, also attended the camp, extending their guidance and encouragement.
