Air Marshal Surat Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Eastern Air Command, during his visit to Air Force Station Jorhat, a premier transport airbase in Assam, on Tuesday. He was received by Air Commodore R Arvind, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jorhat. The AOC-in-C chaired a ‘Conference on Transport Operations in North East India’, which was held on June 17 and 18. The Air Marshal also inaugurated a new squadron complex, constructed as part of the modernisation of infrastructure in EAC.
