Shillong, June 19:Celebrated marathon runner Kmoin Wahlang, a native of Shngimawlein, Mawkyrwat, will grace the 6th Edition of the Shillong 10K Run as the Chief Guest, where she will officially flag off the race.
The event, organised by the Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA), is being held to mark the Olympic Day Celebration 2025 and will take place on June 21 at 6:00 AM, starting from the Shillong Sports Association.
The run, open to both men and women, has seen an overwhelming response with over 600 runners registering for the event. Participants will not only compete for cash prizes of ₹5,000, ₹3,000 and ₹2,000, but will also receive participation certificates signed by the President of the International Olympic Association, adding prestige to the event.
