A blood donation camp is under way to commemorate Doctor’s Day, in the city on Tuesday. Organised by the Rotary Club Shillong Heritage, in collaboration with Nazareth Hospital, the blood donation camp saw enthusiastic donors from the 119th Battalion Infantry of the Territorial Army, among others. As part of the celebration, two senior doctors from Meghalaya, Dr Sandi Syiem and Dr Gordon Mervyn Rangad, were felicitated for their services. A total of 41 units of blood were collected during the blood donation camp.
