SHILLONG, July 3: The Nongthyllep Social Sports & Cultural Organisation (NSS&CO) recently organised a one-day ‘Creative Writing Workshop’ at St Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Nongkhkaw.
The workshop, supported CM Youth Development Scheme (CMYDS), was attended by students from various schools and youths from the area.
The workshop was conducted by noted writer, Avner Medon Pariat, who motivated the young students to express themselves,
“Don’t be afraid to express your thoughts and idea,” Pariat said.
He, however, cautioned the young minds to give a proper thought before penning their ideas or feelings.
It may be mentioned that the NSS&CO has expressed its keenness to conduct similar programmes for the benefit of the youths of the area in the coming months.
