Mawkyrwat, July 16: The Nativity Higher Secondary School Alumni Association felicitated Banrihun Lyngdoh Marshilong, a Class-IX student of Nativity Higher Secondary School, Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills who won two gold medals in the National Arm-Wrestling Championship, 2025 held in Kerala earlier this month.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of Nativity Higher Secondary School, Father Alfonsus Wahlang expressed happiness to see that one of his students shines in the field of sports at the national level.
He said that this is a proud moment for the entire school and the whole district of South West Khasi Hills.
President of the Nativity Higher Secondary School Alumni Association, Kynpham V Kharlyngdoh said that the Association and the school were very proud of Banrihun because this is the first time that a student of the school has shined at the national level in the field of sports and brought laurels to the school.
