‘Missing coal’ may have been washed away: Kyrmen Shylla

Shillong, July 28: Meghalaya Cabinet Minister and East Jaintia Hills MLA Kyrmen Shylla today suspected that 4000 mt tons of coal which recently went missing might have been washed away.

He Said that though he doesn’t know the exact cause of disappearance of the coal, the Minister said that Meghalaya receives heaviest rainfall in the world and there is a possibility that the coal may have been washed away.

The High Court of Meghalaya recently took note of the disappearance of 4000 mt of coal. Shylla however said that people here do not indulge in illegal activities until it’s about their survival
