Indian national dies in Canada plane crash

OTTAWA, July 29: An Indian national, Gautam Santhosh, has died in a small plane crash near Deer Lake in eastern Canada.
The Consulate General of India in Toronto mourned the tragedy and is in close contact with the bereaved family and local authorities to provide assistance.
The Transportation Safety Board reported that a Piper PA-31 Navajo aircraft registered to Kisik Aerial Survey Inc. crashed about a kilometer south of Deer Lake Airport.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. owner Andrew Naysmith expressed his deepest sympathies to the families of the deceased and their loved ones. (PTI)
