MeSCMA to conduct awareness programme on sport climbing

SHILLONG, Aug 6: The Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MeSCMA) will conduct a state level awareness programme on sport climbing and adventure activities on August 21-22, at the Climbing Wall of 58 GTC, Happy Valley, Shillong.
The initiative is aimed at generating awareness and promoting interest in sport climbing among the talented youth of Meghalaya.
Through this programme, MeSCMA seeks to encourage young individuals to explore the exciting world of sport climbing and adventure sports.
Boys and girls aged 12 to 15 years are eligible participate in the programme. The registration for the programme closes at 5:00 pm, on August 12, an MeSCMA statement said.
