Stern’s future with the satellite radio giant remains uncertain, with sources suggesting he may consider a short-term renewal if the financial terms are met. Stern has also been considering retirement more seriously this year. He is unhappy with SiriusXM’s growing focus on competing with fellow radio personality Andy Cohen, leading to his departure. Stern, who gained fame with The Howard Stern Show in the 1980s, moved to SiriusXM in 2006 and has been a staple ever since. In 2020, he extended his radio deal with the company for another five years, with SiriusXM holding the rights to his audio and video archives for an additional seven years. (ANI)
