Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut, ‘Madgaon Express’, has received three Screenwriters Association Awards nominations. The film, starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, and Avinash Tiwary, was written and directed by Kemmu and produced by Excel Entertainment.
The film follows childhood friends Dodo, Ayush, and Pinku on a trip to Goa that goes off-track due to a sequence of terrible decisions. The film also received nominations for Best Story and Screenplay, Best Story and Screenplay, and Best Dialogue.
Kemmu announced on Instagram that he is releasing his first video based on true events, and has launched a dedicated YouTube channel for his music and musical journey. The SWA Awards will be held on August 9 and honor films, series, and TV shows of 2024. (IANS)
