Shillong Lajong FC reached the knockout stage after an impressive group run. They opened their campaign with a commanding 6-0 win over Malaysian Armed Forces FC, followed by a 3-1 victory against Rangdajied United FC. Despite a narrow 1-2 defeat to NorthEast United FC, they advanced as one of the best second-placed teams. Indian Navy FT, meanwhile, topped their group with 7 points, showcasing discipline and consistency throughout the group stage.
