City school gets computers from IDBI Bank

SHILLONG, Aug 22: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, IDBI Bank, Shillong Branch, on Friday donated computers to Rilbong PN Chaudhuri Higher Secondary School, Shillong.
According to a statement here, the donation was made in the presence of the school principal Indranil Bharracharjee, vice principal Sanjoy Bhattacharjee, branch head of IDBI Shillong Angshuman Das and branch head of IDBI Bank, Nongstoin, Badari Wankhar.
It was informed that the initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening educational infrastructure and is “aimed at enhancing digital learning facilities for students, empowering them with better access to knowledge and technology.”
Speaking on the occasion, IDBI Bank officials highlighted the bank’s commitment to societal development through its CSR programmes.
“Education being the key pillar of empowerment, and through this initiative, we at IDBI Bank hope to enable students to build a brighter future,” they said.
