Delhi firm bags Rs 510-cr deal for eight Eklavya Model Schools

SHILLONG, Aug 22: Delhi-based IRCON International Limited has secured a massive Rs 510-crore contract from the Meghalaya government to construct eight Eklavya Model Residential Schools in the state under Package II.
The Meghalaya Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation Limited has issued the letter of award to the firm to construct Eklavya Model Residential Schools across eight locations in Meghalaya.
The contract is valued at Rs 510.47 crore and the estimated completion timeline is 36 months, an official informed.
