Jacob Elordi says he poured his whole self into Frankenstein
Hollywood actor Jacob Elordi has revealed that his portrayal of Frankenstein in the upcoming film Frankenstein is “more me than I am”. Elordi, who plays the Creature, channelled his entire existence into the role, stating that he always waited for the right conditions to make the film different and reconstruct the whole world. He said that the creature on screen in the movie represents the purest form of himself, and he spent up to 10 hours a day in the make-up chair getting ready to play the creature. Elordi explained that the costume has multiple layers, from being born with a low-cost costume to hunching shoulders and closing off as an adult. Elordi also revealed that his golden retriever Layla was with him on set and was not scared by his costume and prosthetics. (IANS)
Salman Khan’s Ganpati farewell filled with dhol and dance
Salman Khan and his family bid farewell to Lord Ganesha in a video shared on Instagram. The video shows Khan and his family dancing to the beats of the dhol during the procession, while his sister Arpita and Alvira carry a smaller idol. Khan is seen wearing a simple T-shirt and jeans as he dances at the visarjan. On Wednesday, Khan posted a video from the Ganpati festivities with his family, including his father Salim Khan, mother Salma Khan, brothers Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, sisters Arpita Khan and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, Aayush Sharma, niece Alizeh Agnihotri, nephew Ayaan Agnihotri, actor couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, and their kids. Snoop Dogg’s rep denies backlash comments as fake
Rapper Snoop Dogg has expressed his dissatisfaction with the representation of LGBTQ relationships in children’s films. His representative claims that comments made on Instagram in response to his comments are “fake.” Snoop Dogg shared his thoughts on 2022’s Lightyear, mentioning the Toy Story spinoff featuring two women sharing a romantic relationship and raising a child together. He was taken aback when his grandchildren watched the movie, which led to questions about same-sex couples for whom he had no answers. Snoop questioned the addition of LGBTQ content in such films, stating that viewers are just children and will have several questions. The film, which tells the origin story of the human Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear, featured an LGBTQ relationship between Buzz’s best friend and commander, Alisha Hawthorne, and her wife, Kiko, with glimpses of their life as a couple and an on-screen kiss. Shilpa Shetty has re-created her iconic look from the 1971 film Haré Rama Haré Krishna, starring Dev Anand and Mumtaz. She wore a yellow printed co-ord set with open hair, sunglasses, and a rudraksh mala around her neck and wrist. Shilpa shared photos of herself in the iconic look on her Instagram account, thanking Aman for inspiring her style and words. The movie, directed by Dev Anand, dealt with the decadence of Hippie culture and featured Aman as a westernized hippie. Shilpa also shared a video of herself doing high-intensity exercises at the gym, promoting the benefits of these exercises. She is set to star in the Kannada action entertainer KD: The Devil, directed by Prem and starring Sanjay Dutt, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, and Nora Fatehi.
