Shillong, Sept 4: The National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya located in Shillong, has made a significant mark by securing the 83rd position in the Engineering category of the NIRF-2025 rankings, announced by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Notably, it stands out as the 19th best among the 31 esteemed NITs in the country, highlighting its exceptional engineering programmes. Moreover, it has the distinction of being the sole higher education institution in Meghalaya to achieve a NIRF ranking within 100, underscoring its leadership in quality education in the region.
