NEW DELHI, Sep 4: Gold prices fell Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,06,070 per 10g in Delhi on Thursday, snapping an eight-day rally, as investors booked profits amid weak global cues.
Silver also dropped RS 500 to Rs 1,25,600 per kilo gram.
On MCX, October gold futures plunged Rs 1,395 intraday, while silver futures fell over RS 1,300.
Analysts cited overbought conditions and expectations of US rate cuts as key factors.
Despite the dip, experts remain bullish due to geopolitical tensions, de-dollarisation trends, and strong festive demand in India. (PTI)
