Achievement

Habalawanphaijingkmen Syiemlieh has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Geography by North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, for her thesis entitled ‘Functions and Pattern of Space Utilization in different Functional Zones of Shillong Municipal Area’, which she completed under the supervision of Prof. PK Ryngnga. She is the granddaughter of (L) Linda Syiemlieh and Nobikstone Rani, the niece of Subakordor Syiemlieh, and a resident of Umthied Bynther village, Eastern West Khasi Hills.
