Tura, Sep 12: An inaugural function kicked off the month-long celebration of Poshan Maah at Balughat Community Hall, Zikzak C&RD Block, South West Garo Hills, with great enthusiasm and active community participation on Friday.
CDPO, ICDS Zikzak Project, B Hajong, M&HO Kalaichar PHC, Dr Debakar Hajong, and Nokma of Balughat Darphius Ch Marak, graced the occasion as special guests.
As part of the celebration, a tree plantation drive – “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” was organized, symbolizing the nurturing role of mothers and promoting environmental well-being.
