Bookaroo Children’s Lit Fest to make Shillong debut

SHILLONG, Sep 15: In what can be termed a ma jor boost to the literary landscape in the state capital, the Bookaroo Children’s Literature Festival is all set to make its debut in Shillong.
The festival will feature over 40 engaging sessions and 26 speakers, with a rich mix of voices from the North East, including 16 participants from Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Sikkim and Meghalaya. The rest will arrive from Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Delhi.
Bookaroo’s unique format, along with its popular sub-venues—the Kahani Tree, the Amphitheatre, the Auditorium, the Studio, the Crafty Corner and the Doodle Wall—promises to entertain and inspire young audiences.
