NEW DELHI, Sep 28: Bengaluru’s housing market is experiencing strong demand, with projections indicating a 21% increase in sales to 16,840 units from July to September.
Sales for the January-September period of 2025 are expected to reach 49,559 units, up from 46,392 in 2024.
Factors contributing to this demand include a flourishing IT sector, favorable infrastructure developments, and a growing population of genuine homebuyers.
Notably, the sales dropped to 61,116 units in 2024 from 66,600 in 2023, reflecting past pandemic impacts.
Despite a predicted decline in housing sales across India’s top nine cities, Bengaluru continues to show resilience, driven primarily by end-users seeking quality housing in a city with strong employment prospects and attractive rental yields. (PTI)
